Tigerwood is a particularly beautiful type of wood, the heartwood of which has an orange-brown color when freshly processed, often with dark brown veins. After finishing and exposure to light, the color quickly turns orange-red-brown to deep red-brown with black stripes or flames. However, there are also parts that are less strikingly marked, the color is orange-red-brown and then resembles cherry wood. The sapwood, which is 40-80 mm wide, has a gray yellow color.
