What a particularly beautiful type of wood it is. Zebrano owes its name to the black and white stripes on the quarter-length surface. Plain sawn wood shows a very striking flame pattern. Zebrano is a nervous type of wood. This is due to the wavy and cross wire. After sawing, planing and profiling, small drying cracks easily appear. A conditioned space and covering the material benefit the result.
